The BES-18L/23L-N-LED steam sterilizer offers 18 L and 23 L chambers rated at 230 V/50 Hz and 1,800 W, with chamber sizes of 249 x 350 mm and 249 x 450 mm and overall dimensions of 580 x 460 x 450 mm. It has touch keys, a fast USB port and a large water tank: 7 litres of capacity, an open tank that is easy to clean, and a built-in water-quality sensor that reduces fault rates and extends service life. At 100 cycles the B&D and leak lamps begin to flash as a reminder of the automatic cleaning program for the steam generator and piping; holding the select button for five seconds makes both lamps flash, and pressing start then launches the cleaning cycle.
