The insert is hard and tough, cuts sharply and resists wear, leaving a fine smooth surface on aluminium parts; it is widely used in machinery, chemical, medical, sports, defence and petroleum industries for aluminium parts and forming work. Recommended parameters: M stainless 70-120 m/min, K aluminium 90-280 m/min (for reference only; actual machining conditions govern). Inserts are selected by shape code and thickness code (01 = 1.59 mm, 02 = 2.38 mm, T2 = 2.78 mm, 03 = 3.18 mm, T3 = 3.97 mm, 04 = 4.76 mm, 06 = 6.35 mm).
