The Y-C2 mini ceramic self-ligating bracket is divided into MBT brackets and straight wire (Roth) brackets. It consists of a base body and a base plate: the base body has a groove for placing the orthodontic arch wire and a wing for ligating the arch wire; the base plate and the tooth bonding surface have a structure to improve bonding strength, with a dovetail, and there are two types, plain base plate and mesh base plate. The mix of advanced copolymers and ceramic material creates a translucent clearness for superior esthetics and a hardness that does not flex, break or stain.
