The EQ400 is an ultrasonic cell disruptor and homogeniser listed at 20 kHz and 400 W, designed for ultrasonic processing of small and medium laboratory samples. It uses a purely digital circuit that delivers constant power output and accepts several ultrasonic tool heads, covering samples from 0.1 mL up to 4000 mL. Operation is by touch, with twenty selectable process programs that are saved automatically so a routine protocol can be repeated without re-entering parameters.
