Indexable carbide milling insert for aluminium, models APKT1604 and APKT1135, rhombic with a central hole, mounted on CNC milling arbors. Made from ultra-fine grain virgin carbide, the insert resists deformation well and offers good wear resistance for a longer life; the edge is sharp with strong cutting force, efficient and stable machining and high surface finish, while the smooth insert face evacuates chips and resists built-up edge. It is widely used in machinery, chemical, medical, sports, defence and petroleum industries for aluminium parts and forming work. Recommended cutting speeds: P steel 100-150 m/min, M stainless 70-120 m/min, K aluminium 90-280 m/min (for reference only; actual machining conditions govern).
