The Y-M2 self-ligating bracket launched in 2023 was designed by the R&D team with a more rounded and smooth surface and surrounding shape, a 30% increase in roundness compared to regular brackets, making it less prone to oral ulcers. The cover of the mini self-ligating bracket uses a sliding design with nickel-titanium clips inside to ensure cover stability. The bracket bottom is marked with the digital tooth position, and the surface is smoother and rounder. Round surface design improves patient comfort; the volume is very mini while the design guarantees a large space under the ligature wings. The body is made of 17-4 stainless steel. Two sizes are available, 0.022" and 0.018", divided into types with hooks and without hooks.
