The Y-M1 mini metal bracket has tooth numbers and a middle line for easy identification and positioning, and a special step design that allows the lowest friction between arch wire and slot. It is made by metal injection molding (MIM), with a rounded slot entrance for less friction; rounded bracket wings and a lower profile ensure the utmost comfort for patients. Types include without hook, hook on 3, and hook on 3, 4, 5; slot sizes are 0.022 and 0.018. The base is a MIM mesh base with low nickel content (less than 4%), helping prevent a loose pad or bracket, and the surface is finely polished.
