Scope of application Cobalt-chromium powder for dental restorations produced by laser selective melting (SLM): metal-ceramic copings and bridges, full-cast crowns, bridges and inlays, and removable partial denture frameworks and clasps. Key features 1. Trace-element additions improve metal-ceramic bonding of the printed part (patented). 2. A dedicated atomisation system gives high sphericity, good flowability and a stable particle-size distribution for reliable powder spreading (patented). 3. Vacuum melting and atomisation keep oxygen content low, so printed parts show fewer oxides and a higher yield of usable units. 4. Printed parts show good mechanical properties, low porosity, and stable quality over repeated print cycles.
