iPD Lingchi is an intelligent design software for removable partial denture frameworks, presented as making framework design faster, more varied and simpler. It was developed by Nanjing Profeta together with the Peking University School of Stomatology and is described as the first domestically developed framework design software of its kind. Based on artificial intelligence, it provides a doctor assistant that recommends several design options and enables digital tooth arrangement, processing and printing. A texture scanning and drawing function supports textured models and is described as helping laboratories move framework work from manual wax patterns to digital design. Team collaboration runs on SaaS cloud services with group management for remote and cross-region work, and design quality is kept stable under experienced senior technicians.
