The EQ300-SPB is the EQ300 ultrasonic cell disruptor and homogeniser supplied with a sound-proof enclosure, listed at 28 kHz and 300 W. It uses a fully digital circuit with constant power output and accepts different ultrasonic tool heads for samples from 1 mL to 2000 mL. Control is by touch screen with twenty process programs that save automatically. The enclosure is the practical difference from the standard EQ300, addressing the audible noise that ultrasonic disruption produces in an open laboratory.
