Product description
Zinc oxide eugenol cement is described as a highly suitable dental material with a long history of clinical use. It sets relatively quickly, soothes the pulp and is only mildly irritant, helping the dentine and pulp gradually recover their vitality. Because its thermal conductivity is very close to that of dental hard tissue, it acts as a thermal insulator when used as a cavity base. Indications are indirect pulp capping, cavity work, temporary sealing and temporary restorations. Packing is 2 x 10 g powder plus 7.5 ml liquid per box. The liquid version is made from high-quality raw material with a purity above 95 percent; it is used for emergency relief of deep caries and pulpitis, and when mixed with zinc oxide powder it serves as a base or lining, packed 20 ml per bottle.
