Coated straight-flute chamfer cutter in tungsten carbide for steel work, made from micro-grain virgin carbide. It serves both as a spot drill and a chamfer tool for spotting round holes and for 60, 90 and 120 degree chamfers. The Swiss Platit coating keeps the tool from wearing, with high hardness and a sharp, sturdy fully ground edge; the chamfer geometry gives stable chip evacuation and a longer working life. It suits aluminium alloy, copper alloy, magnesium alloy, acrylic, wood and other non-ferrous materials, and is used on high-speed machines such as CNC machining centres, engraving machines and precision engravers.
