Product description
Tungsten carbide rod blank made from micro-grain carbide stock with high hardness, good wear resistance, impact toughness and a long service life; ground on an imported ANCA five-axis machine it is sharp and tough, backed by good after-sales service. The rods are widely used to make cutting tools such as turning tools, end mills, planer blades, drills and reamers, and also for carbide dies, ejector pins and pointed cutters. Material is supplied by grade, for example FMD10 (grain size 0.5-0.8, 10% binder, 92.0 HRA, density 14.40, transverse rupture strength 4000 MPa, ISO code K30), and can be machined to order.
